Our Mission at RIMA/Policy Solutions
The mission of the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association is to be the unified voice of the Ocean State’s 1,600 manufacturers. We advocate at the federal, state, and local levels for sensible policy solutions that strengthen manufacturing, and serve as a bridge connecting our members with the resources they need to compete and grow.
At RIMA, our mission is to:
1.) Strengthen the supply & demand need for manufactured goods in Rhode Island
2.) Organize effective outreach & communication within the Rhode Island manufacturing community
3.) Design, create and support training programs for Rhode Island manufacturing
4.) Generate public awareness of issues pertaining to Rhode Island manufacturing
5.) Demonstrate the positive impact of exporting Rhode Island manufactured products and part
At RIMA, we bolster the economy within our own state borders by actively working towards securing sensible policy solutions at the federal, state, and local levels; for manufacturers, these industry-friendly policies are the key to success.
