In the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire, in the town of Laconia, is Riverbank House.

Riverbank House is a residential community for men recovering from addiction and self-destructive habits. However, it is not an institutional drug rehab facility. Instead of churning though residents, the passionate staff at Riverbank House believes in long-term extended support. While Riverbank does accommodate 28-day residents, most stay far longer. Addiction specialists have declared length of stay as the single greatest predictor of success in overcoming addiction to drugs and alcohol; at Riverbank House, residents have the time to rediscover themselves in a beautiful and nurturing setting.

Residents of Riverbank House will be guided through a science-based and spiritually grounded recovery program, one that emphasizes understanding, camaraderie, and rediscovering the joy in life. While the program is founded upon the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Riverbank also believes in the Many Pathways to Recovery approach. This approach emphasizes numerous factors to success, including body and brain health (such as yoga, meditation and ecotherapy), medication assisted therapy, and behavioral health (including relationship and conflict resolution, and relapse prevention.
