GIPC will partner with trademark organizations to promote the importance of the Lanham Act, legislation establishing federal trademark law. 

Senator Charles “Chuck” Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary and co-chair of the Congressional Trademark Caucus and Senator Chris Coons (D-DE), member of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary and co-chair of the Congressional Trademark Caucus, as well as other Members of Congress, including Congressional Trademark Caucus Co-Chairs U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene (D-WA) and U.S. Representative J. Randy Forbes (R-VA), will join attendees in celebrating the Lanham Act.

Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Michelle K. Lee will also deliver remarks focusing on the importance of trademark registration.
